KURU TOGA is Mitsubishi Pencil's signature innovation, engineered in Japan by uni — the country's leading writing instrument maker. This KS Model is available in two everyday colourways: soft, neutral Ivory and deep, muted Iron Blue — pick whichever suits your desk. Every pencil in the range uses a tiny internal gear system that rotates the lead a few degrees with each stroke, so it wears down evenly instead of flattening on one side, keeping the point naturally sharp without ever needing to twist or re-click.
Four Reasons the KS Model Writes Differently
Auto-Rotating Mechanism. An internal three-gear system automatically rotates the lead a small amount every time you press the tip down and lift it off the page. Instead of wearing flat on one side, the lead wears evenly into a perfect conical point — all on its own, with no twisting required.
Consistent Lines, Less Mess. Because the tip stays continuously sharp, you can write fine, crisp text indefinitely. That even wear also stops the lead catching on the paper or crumbling, which means noticeably less lead dust on your page and hands.
Stabilised "More Focus" Engine. The KS Model's upgraded engine minimises vertical tip movement — the slight stroke play you'd normally feel when the pencil touches the paper. With that wobble suppressed, the pencil feels far steadier in the hand, so you can stay focused on the page rather than the pencil.

Care Instructions
Wipe the barrel with a soft, dry cloth. Ivory in particular shows marks more readily than darker colourways, so avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners on the elastomer grip and body. Use only 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead and store with the tip retracted when not in use.
