Slide the animal backward off its ice-blue base to unlock and reveal the blade — slide it forward again and it locks safely away, ready to sit on your desk as an object in its own right. The ceramic blade is rust-resistant, replaceable, and deliberately short (0.6cm) so it glides cleanly through cardboard without damaging what's inside. Look closely at the base and you'll even spot a little fish silhouette hidden in the cutter cavity — a playful PLUS design touch.

Care & Use
Wipe the silicone body clean with a soft, dry cloth. Only use on cardboard — never on metal, plastic, or other hard materials, as this will damage the ceramic blade. Always slide the animal back into the locked position over the base when not in use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the blade sharp enough to hurt what's inside the box?
No — the blade is intentionally short (0.6cm) and designed with typical 5mm cardboard thickness in mind, so it's much less likely to damage the contents inside compared to a standard box cutter.
Can I replace the blade when it gets dull?
Yes. The ceramic blade is refillable — simply purchase the PLUS Pico Friends Replacement Blade and follow the swap instructions using a small screwdriver.
Is this safe to leave out with kids or pets around?
This is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children. When not in use, always slide the animal forward into the locked position so the blade is fully covered.
