阿文有一條黃色的小毯子，當他還是小寶寶的時候，他就非常喜歡它。不管是在家裡、在外面、吃東西、吊單槓還是上廁所，阿文總是說：「我去哪裡，小毯子就跟我去哪裡。」或「我喜歡的東西，小毯子都喜歡。」
隔壁有個喜歡串們子的阿姨，她看不慣阿文帶著小毯子走來走去，像個長不大的孩子。於是她不斷的向阿文的父母獻計，先是說一個《毛毯小精靈》的故事；再教他們試試泡醋的方式；最後她要阿文的爸媽態度堅決的說：「不行。」
不管爸媽用什麼方法，阿文總是有辦法保住他的小毯子。但當阿文聽到爸媽堅持不讓他帶著小毯子上學時，他傷心的哭了。這下爸媽又心生不忍了，他們會想出一個皆大歡喜的方法嗎？
